Sandra M. "Sam" Miller

December 27, 1946 — November 19, 2023

Manheim

On November 19th, 2023, Sandra M. (Roupp) Miller, slipped from this earth, shedding all her pain, finally free. After graduating from Elmira High School, she trained as a cosmetologist, worked at Westinghouse as a guard, and then moved to Sullivan County, working in Tunkhannock as a forklift operator. There everyone knew her as Sam or Sandy. She was a pro at darts, winning many tournaments with her sister Bobbie. She loved to dance, rip and run, and never met a stranger. Years later, she met/married Rick Miller, moving the family to Lancaster County, where she worked as an office assistant for the Manheim Auto Auction. The Millers recently celebrated their 40th anniversary and were members of the Manheim Band Club. Sandy did not make the best choices during her life but lived how she wanted, choosing a path that at times ostracized many. She kept her secrets, rarely sharing them with even those closest to her, sadly isolating her and so many.

Sandy is preceded in death by her loving parents, Matthias Lynch and Anna (Yulch) Lynch of Binghamton, NY, and Towanda, PA. She is survived by her beloved husband Rick Miller of Manheim, PA, her twin daughters, Rose Ann Lynch and her partner Ann Fitzl of Okmulgee, OK, Ruth Ann (Lynch) wife of Eric Patschorke of Manheim, PA, her daughter Ginger (Valesente) wife of Miles Weekly of Bluffton, GA, Daughter Laura Marie Mehling of Caledonia, MI, her son Eric, her stepdaughter Erica (Miller) wife of Jon Flowers of Lebanon, PA, and step son Austin Miller of Columbia, PA. She is also survived by her beloved sister Roberta “Bobbie” (Radencic) Lynch of New Albany, PA, her nieces Debra (Browning) wife of Jim Hecht of FL, Diana Browning of New Albany and Zions Grove, PA, Donna (Browning) Winn of New Albany and Zions Grove, PA, and her nephew Michael Browning husband to Patricia (Dieffenbach) of Dushore, PA. And many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

While we miss Sandy deeply, we are all thankful Sandy is finally at peace. As the truth is revealed, we move on, and so we will all be in peace.
