William Perry Poplin

               Mr. William P. Poplin, age 60, of Mildred, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his home.           Bill was born February 3, 1957, in Germany, son of Clarice Striney Poplin and the late William L. Poplin.  He graduated from the Sullivan County High School, a member of the class of 1975. He also attended and graduated from Welding School.                   He served in the US Army from 1977 to 1979.  After his military service he graduated from the Welder and Testing Institute, Allentown, PA.           Bill worked as a cook at different restaurants in Sullivan County.           Bill was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA.   Surviving:   Mother: Clarice                                                     Mildred, PA   Two daughters: Ashley Poplin Rian Poplin   Two brothers: Randal Poplin fiancée Robin Eastabrook       Towanda, PA David (Kristi) Poplin                                       Grand Rapids, MI   Sister: Monica Litzelman                                           Northfield, VT   And several nieces and nephews.           Besides his father, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Michael John Kachmar on August 29, 2006.           A Transferal Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Michael S. Drevitch, assistant pastor, Epiphany Parish, Sayre, presiding.  Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Mildred, PA.             Friends may call at the P.
