G. Theodore Moore, age 65, of Overton, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday evening, April 7, 2026, surrounded with love from his family and beloved dog Bear after a battle with cancer.

Teddy or Ted, as he was known by his family and friends was born in Lancaster, PA, on August 21, 1960, a son of Shirley Lee Seibert Moore and the late Glenn Howard Moore. He attended schools in Huntingdon County, PA, before entering the workforce. He moved to Bradford County 30 years ago for better jobs and employment. He worked in construction and was a heavy equipment operator for many years before working for Mountain Energy out of Wyalusing. After driving water truck for Mountain Energy, Ted along with his wife Elaine started their own business, T&E Hauling LLC, where they owned and operated their own water truck. Ted worked up until August of 2025, when ill health forced an early retirement.

In 2017, Ted met the former Elaine Robin Colegrove and they were married on March 21, 2020.

Ted enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing with Elaine. He was a great fisherman and loved to fish whenever and wherever he could. He also enjoyed gardening and mowing. However his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his favorite child, Bear Moore, his cherished doggie. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Ted was predeceased by his father Glenn H. Moore on December 10, 2005, and by a brother Michael David Moore on January 1, 1979.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 3:15 PM in the St. Francis of Xavier Cemetery, Overton, PA.

The family wishes to express their sincerest thanks to Guthrie Hospice and Ted’s step daughter Monica, for their extremely kind and caring compassion shown to Ted in his final days.
