Stephen Paul Okolowski

          Stephen Paul Okolowski, age 59, formerly of the Chester, PA, area, passed away at his home in Mildred, PA, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, after a brief illness.

          Steve was born in Chester, PA, on March 15, 1959, a son of Geraldine Ann Wheeling Okolowski and the late Joseph Francis Okolowski Jr.  He graduated from Chichester High School, a member of the class of 1978.

          He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served from 1978 to 1982, when he was discharged in Neth Bay, WA.  He also served in the US Merchant Marines.   Steve worked for Sun Oil, sailing on the American Sun.    He also worked in the Philadelphia Naval Yard along with various other jobs until he retired.

          Steve was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  He played softball for many years for Willowbrook Pub, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by an infant son, Paul Stephen Okolowski.

          Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 17^th, 2018, at 12:00 Noon at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA, with the Rev. David Hart officiating.

          Military Honors will be accorded by members of the United States Coast Guard Honors Detail at the Funeral Home.

          Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service at 12:00 Noon.
