Ryszard Cendrowski

Ryszard Cendrowski, age 72, of Race Hill Road, Terrytown, PA, passed away on Saturday afternoon, January 8, 2022, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes Barre, PA.

          Ryszard was born on September 2, 1949, in Kossaki, Poland, the youngest of thirteen children of the late Waclaw and Marijanna Zielinska Cendrowski. After graduating from high school, he served in the Polish Military for two years and earned a diploma in electrical construction.

He came to the United States in 1985. Shortly thereafter he met a young widow, Anna Cywrus, who had come to the United States from Poland at the age of 16. They were married in December of 1990.

          He worked as a roofer and an electrician in Passaic, New Jersey until he was hurt in 2001. Ryszard and his family moved to Terrytown in April of 1995 and he and his wife made their home on Race Hill Road, while raising their two daughters.

          He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed doing woodworking and creating many different items.

          Besides his parents, he predeceased by twelve siblings.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 83 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA 18853 and will be held at the conveniece of the family.
