From 2002 until her retirement in 2009, she pastored at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Nanticoke, PA. She enjoyed retirement for 5 years, until 2014, when she returned back to the pulpit, to serve in Sullivan County, PA. She “retired” once again in August of 2019 after serving as the Pastor of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, at Zion Chapel in Dushore and St. John’s Chapel in Wilmot, and also in Trinity Chapel in Mildred until its closing.

Up until two weeks ago when her health started failing, she was actively continuing Gods work and supplying pastoral duties for several churches in the Nanticoke area and continued to offer home visits to her former congregation members in Sullivan County.

She was a member of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America). She was also a member of AA, with over 43 years of sobriety.
