Mr. Paul Michael Loeffler II, age 91, of New Albany, PA, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, August 5, 2025, at the Guthrie Towanda Skilled Nursing Unit after a brief illness.
Skip as he was known by his family and friends, was born on September 6, 1933, in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Paul Michael Loeffler Sr. and Mary Morris Loeffler Curan. He married the former Constance Andrea “Connie” Guisti on June 28, 1957. They celebrated over 67 years of marriage before Connie’s passing on February 15, 2025.
Skip honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Air Force. He would later retire from the Air Force and Reserves as a Senior Master Sergeant after 41 years of service. Skip and Connie retired and made their home in Albany Twp., Bradford County, PA, in 1992.
Skip enjoyed operating and fishing from his own boat in the early years of retirement. He also enjoyed target shooting on his property and was very knowledgeable about many types of firearms. He also could be found most days fixing and repairing small appliances and tools.
Surviving Skip is his sister, Geraldine “Gerry” Masteropietro of Philadelphia, PA, and special friends Mike and Debra Krause of Dushore, PA, and Karen Sysock, of Mildred, PA. He is also survived by his son Paul M. Loeffler III of Coco Beach, FL, and by many friends in the area and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
