Miriam Jean Riemann Campbell

Miriam Jean Riemann Campbell, age 73, of Dushore, PA, passed away on Monday morning, May 19, 2025.

Miriam was born on July 8, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA, and was a daughter of the late Walter Julius and Louisa Miriam Chappell Riemann. She graduated from the Olney High School, in Philadelphia. After high school, she worked in various jobs in the greater Philadelphia area.

In 1984, Miriam moved with her parents and Aunt Ruth to Dushore, PA, where they made their home on Church Street.

Miriam enjoyed flowers and always looked forward to attending the Philadelphia Flower Show. She was a very kind and loving soul, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Stephen W. and Sheila Riemann of Dushore, PA, and a sister Priscilla Schell of Commerce, MI, and a brother-in-law, James Schell of Townsend, DE.

Nieces and nephews: Douglas and Patricia Schell, Daniel and Missy Schell, Deborah and Matthew Burkett, Suzanne Riemann and Anjeanette Milner, and Steven and Angela Riemann.

Cousins: Ruth and David Foster, Richard and Betty Chappell, Robert and Dottie Chappell, and Naomi and Chris Morris.

Miriam is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Dushore, PA, where Miriam will be laid to rest beside her parents.

Memorial contributions may be to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Miriam Campbell.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
