Marion Lee Mott

Marion Lee Mott, age 76, of Powell, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Sayre Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.

Marion was born on May 28, 1949, in Williamsport, PA, a daughter of the late Lester J. and Phoebe A. Calaman Shaffer. She graduated from Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 1967.

For many years Marion worked as a beautician running a beauty shop out of her home in Powell.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, and dancing. She also enjoyed traveling and eating out. She loved being out in nature taking walks and dabbling in photography.

She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Mildred, PA, with Pastor Stan Oschman from the Plaid Community Church officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
