Mrs. Marion Louise Johnson Canfield, age 81, of Wyalusing, PA, passed away peacefully on the evening Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Edenbrook North Nursing Home in Williamsport, PA.

Marion was born on June 10, 1944, in Sayre, PA, a daughter of the late Cecil and Betty Rose Kinner Johnson. She attended Towanda area schools.

She married James L. Norconk and they raised three children while helping with Jim's mother's store, Norconk Clothing on Main St. Wyalusing. She later married Roger Dale Canfield Sr. a local contractor, and they were married until Roger's death on November 21, 2013.

Marion also worked as a seamstress in the local dress factories, and at the former Wyalusing Elementary School, as cook and janitor.

Marion's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marion is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a great granddaughter, Paisley Michelle Zickler on March 28, 2020, and by her siblings: Albert Johnson, Cecil Johnson Jr., Joyce Johnson, Marlene Johnson, and Charles Johnson.

Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
