Mr. Lloyd Fox, age 82, of Laceyville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Lloyd was born on October 27, 1944, in Sayre, PA, a son of the late Harold E. “Jack” and Cleone Fox Foote. He attended Northeast Bradford High School, graduating with the class of 1962.

In November 1962, Lloyd enlisted in the United States Army, where he received training as a diesel mechanic. He proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in July 1963.

Following his military service, Lloyd worked at a shoe factory, where he met his future wife, Dawn Allen. The couple was married on September 16, 1965. Dawn predeceased him on February 17, 2020, after 55 years of marriage.

Throughout his life, Lloyd was a hardworking man who held a variety of positions. He spent many years working at Jackson's Farm on Lacey Street and later worked as a mechanic for a trucking company in Tunkhannock, R.G. Brown's, and several local stone quarries.

Above all, Lloyd cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed tending to his garden each year and took great pride in growing his own vegetables. Lloyd was a member of the Black Walnut American Legion Post #510 and was a former Scout leader with the Laceyville Scout Troop, where he volunteered his time helping guide and mentor young people in his community.
