Mrs. Laura Winifred Bullock, age 93, of Laceyville, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the Bradford Hills in Burlington, PA.
Laura was born March 18, 1933, in French Asylum, PA, the daughter of the late Charles & Mary Hoyt Sites. She married Christian A. Bullock in November of 1970, and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage before his passing on February 18, 2012.
Laura was a devoted homemaker and also worked alongside her husband over the years, helping with his heating business.
She found great joy in the simple things in life. She loved watching hummingbirds and took special pride in caring for her African Violets. Laura treasured time spent with her family and friends and especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was also creative and enjoyed making crafts, as well as spending time gardening.
She was a former member of the Wyalusing Lioness Club and the VFW Post #6072 Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her sons: Robert Sluyter and James Sluyter; daughters: Nancy Hufford and Rose Mary Cinder, brother; Fred Sites; sisters and brother-in-law: Elizabeth and Harry Rought and Eunice Heath.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 83 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA 18853 with Pastor William White, pastor of the Wyalusing United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Homer Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 1, 2026, at 11AM.
The family will provide the flowers and ask that donations in her memory be made to the Wyalusing Public Library, PO Box 98, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
