Kenneth Leo Krakoski

January 30, 1963 — July 11, 2020

          Kenneth “Ken” Leo Krakoski, a resident of Douglasville for over four years and former resident of Dushore, died Saturday, July 11th, 2020, at his residence.  He was 57 years old.

          Ken was born in Towanda, PA, and lived on the family farm located on Ringer Hill in Cherry Township until he moved at age 18 to the Lehigh Valley, where he resided for many years.  Ken was a truck driver for over 30 years in the trucking industry, most recently with Estes Trucking and enjoyed being on the road with his rig.

          He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Flyers fan and is looking forward to watching their next championships from the best seat in the universe.

          He was a gentle giant with a good nature and a generous heart, who easily made friends wherever he went.  He was adored by his family and friends and he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his brothers, John (Kay Evelyn) Krakoski of Dushore; David (Deborah) Krakoski of Spring, TX; sisters, Carolyn (Richard) Gryska of Elmira, NY; and Kathy (John) McKinley of Cary, NC.  Ken had seven nieces and two nephews; and seven great nephews and two great nieces.  Ken was predeceased by the following: father, John Krakoski, mother, Geraldine Hembury Krakoski, sister, Cheryl Krakoski, and brother, Thomas Krakoski.

          A Transferal Service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. from the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA, and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA, with the Rev. Thomas J. Major, pastor, presiding.  Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery.

          Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the transferal at 11:00 AM on Friday morning, July 17, 2020.
