Kathleen Marie Keefer

                    Mrs. Kathleen M. Keefer, age 74, of Lincoln Falls and Wernersville, PA passed away at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA on Monday, May 29, 2017.           Kathleen was born December 10, 1942, in Niles, MI, a daughter of the late Charles & Loretta Happ Girt.              She received her Bachelor’s degree from Elizabethtown College and a Master’s degree from Penn State University.  She was formerly the vice-president of the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce and director of Leadership Lebanon Valley.  Later she served on the board of directors of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce, while operating a bed and breakfast facility in the county for more than a decade.             Surviving: spouse: Scott D. Keefer, at home;  two sons: Stephen E. (Bridget) Kelker, Downingtown, PA and Christian B. (Kristina) Kelker, Lancaster, PA; sister: Sharon A. Stultz, Leesburg, VA; granddaughter: Elizabeth Claire Kelker, Lancaster; three nieces: Sarah Ammann, Mary McIntosh and Amy Windle, all of VA.             Memorials may be directed to Berks County Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508; or Bradford County Humane Society, US Hwy 220, Ulster, PA 18850; or Sullivan County Library, PO Box 309, Dushore, PA 18614.             Funeral Services will be private and under the direction of the P.
