Mrs. Kathleen R. Christini, age 73, of Dushore, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the Williamsport Hospital.
Katie as she was known to her family and friends was born on February 16, 1946, in Towanda, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony & Rachel I. Kelley Touschner. She graduated from the Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 1964.
She married Theodore P. Christini of Mildred, PA, on December 30, 1967.
She graduated from Mansfield College and managed Redifer Dining Hall at Penn State University. She attended many auctions and sold antiques at shows and through her store, Olde House Antiques, which she operated for years.
Katie loved spending time with her grandchildren who loved to spend time with her and loved her dearly. She made her home a special place for them. Family was very important to her, seen in how lovingly she cared for her husband Ted these many years. She remained very active with her high school class alumni. Many friends were welcomed at her farmhouse with wonderful cooking and hospitality.
Katie loved to cook and garden. She led 4-H groups for many years and coached the high school cheerleading squad. She was a passionate quilter and loved hosting the annual quilting retreat.
