October 24, 1934 — July 15, 2018

Mrs. Jacqueline Welles Keller, 83, of Bradenton FL, formerly of Wyalusing, PA, died Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Tidewell Hospice, Bradenton, FL.

Jackie was born October 24, 1934, in Chicago, IL, where her father, Jack Welles, served as an FBI Special Agent. A daughter of John Roset and Ethel Turner Seago Welles, Jackie attended Wyalusing High School then Wyoming Seminary School of Business. On her family’s farm, Grovedale, she was an active horsewoman, riding often with her friends in the Circle H. Ranch riding club.

Jackie moved to Tampa in 1957 where she met the love of her life, Larry Keller.

Major Larry Keller later died in an Air Force B-52 crash in October 1969.

Following Larry’s death, Jackie moved her family to Bradenton FL, where she became a real estate agent with the firm of Wyman, Green and Blalock in Bradenton.

Her favorite past-times were Sudoku and knitting. She was a Gold Life Master in American contract bridge and was certified for scuba diving. She had a world-class collection of shells, dating from the 1940’s. Jackie loved to travel and over the years visited most of the countries of the world. She was a voracious reader.
