George Michael Snavely

Mr. George Michael Snavely, age 75, of Sayre, PA, passed away on July 8, 2025, at the Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville, PA, with his cousin Linda at his side.

George was the only child of George Nicholas and Catherine Amelia Scott Snavely. He was raised in Sayre and graduated from the Sayre High School. He later attended the Williamsport Area Community College, now known as Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Trains and cars were his passion. Model railroading was his favorite hobby.

He was a long-time resident at the Highlands Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Laporte, PA.

He will be interred next to his parents at the Covenant United Methodist Cemetery, in Lebanon.
