Mrs. Emily “Millie” Andrewlavage, age 96, of Lopez, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, in Fredon Township, NJ, with her son at her side.
Millie was born in Lopez, PA, on January 10, 1926, a daughter of the late Adam and Mary Moskva Stavisky. She graduated from the Dushore High School, a member of the class of 1944. She married Francis J. “Pinky” Andrewlavage of Mildred, PA, on May 18, 1946, after he was discharged from WWII. They settled in New Jersey where they raised their children and then retired to Lopez, PA, in 1989.
Millie was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother. She was a very active member of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church in Lopez, PA, where she was very helpful to Father Hendershot with the history of the parish. Millie kept an immaculate home and enjoyed maintaining her beautiful yard and flowers.

Great grandchildren: Janelle Clausi; Anthony Clausi; and Lindsey Sonner-Woortman.
And several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son, James E. Andrewlavage on April 5, 2015, a daughter, Janette DeLuca on February 24, 2016, a son-in-law, Charles N. DeLuca Jr. on April 23, 2012. She was also predeceased by sisters and brothers-in-law: Anna Stavisky; Genevieve (Harry) Elchak; and Irene (Stanley) Magda; brothers and sisters-in-law: Steve Stavisky; Mike (Nancy) Stavisky; Joe (Katherine and Ruby) Stavisky; Bill (Eleanor) Stavisky; and Dan Stavisky.
Burial Service will be held on Saturday, February 26th, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, Lopez, PA, with the Rev. Dennis Hendershot, presiding. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Cemetery, Lopez, PA.
Friends and family may call on Friday, February 25th, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614. There will be a Parastas Service at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
