Edward Peter Young

Edward Peter Young, age 90, of 1070 Hayes Rd., Dushore, PA, and formerly of North Plainfield N.J., passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2018, at DarWay Elder Care, in Estella, PA

Edward was born in Green Brook, N.J. on May 14, 1928, a son of the late Willard Peter Young and Helen Anna Hollywood. He graduated from North Plainfield High School and then attended Penn State University.

H served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 and in 1949 was honorably discharged.

Edward was a refrigeration engineer for American Cyanamid Co., in Bound Brook, N.J. and retired from there after 20 years of employment.

Edward was predeceased by his father, Willard Young on May 19, 1971, and his mother, Helen Young on March 20, 1986. He was also predeceased by a daughter Karen Young on July 4, 2011, and by a son, Edward Young in June of 2012, and by two sisters, Vivian Barile on November 28, 1999, and Thelma Myers in July of 1994.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
