Donnata Mary Harvey, passed away on Monday, January 28^th, 2019, on her 76^th birthday, after a courageous battle with a lingering illness, at the Robert Packer Hospital with her loving family at her side.

          Donnata was born January 28, 1943, in Hazleton, PA, a daughter of the late James and Regina Jenis Medico.   She graduated from the Hazleton High School a member of the class of 1960. In high school, she was a member of the Dolphin’s swim team.

          She began working in high school for the Knotty Pines restaurant in Hazleton. She later worked for RCA at Mountain Top, PA, and later for Staff Management at P&G in Tunkhannock.  She also worked at the Wyalusing Hotel.  She married Robert E. Harvey in 1980, and moved to Sullivan County.

          She was a member of the Moxie Community Church.  She was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid swimmer in high school and enjoyed all of nature and especially fishing and loved humming birds, cardinals, and especially owls.

          A celebration of her life will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the Moxie Community Church, 315 Benjamin Road, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Michael A. Dodd, pastor of the Evergreen Christian Church, officiating.

          Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA.
