Donald "Kippie" L Kipp

Mr. Donald L. Kipp, age 50, of Lexington, TN, passed away on Monday morning, April 16, 2018, at his home.  

          Kippie as he was commonly known to his family and friends was born on September 6, 1967, in Sayre, PA, a son of Joyce Chilson Kipp and the late Leo Herbert Kipp Sr. He graduated from Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 1986. He moved to Lexington, TN in 1987.

          In his early years he worked in the concrete business and after becoming disabled from a car accident he enjoyed doing any odd jobs he could to help out his friends and family, especially mowing.

          He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

          He is also survived by his three best friends, Randall, Chris, and Glenn, and also by numerous cousins.

          He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Sue Kipp in 1992, and by his father, Leo H. Kipp Sr. on February 13, 2014, his paternal grandparents Leo & Martine Robinson Kipp, and his maternal grandparents Allen B. Chilson & Helen Benjamin Chilson Hoover.

          Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 12:00 Noon at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with Pastor Mike MacWhinnie officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

          Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 10:30 A.M. until the start of the service at Noon.
