Dewayne "Les" Edward Mensch

Dewayne Edward “Les” Mensch, age 58, of Dushore, PA, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, after a brief illness.

He was born August 5, 1965, in Muncy Valley, PA, the son of the late Robert Henry and Viva Rose Finogle Mensch.  He attended the Sullivan County High School.  

He started working right out of high school for Hembury farms.  He was there for almost 40 years.  He truly enjoyed being on the farm in his tractor. Over the years he became more of a family member than an employee, and was treated like one of the boys and given the nickname Les.

Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and grandnieces.

He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Ann Mensch of Hamilton, NJ, on October 15, 2015.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
