David Darwin Masters

April 3, 1942 — March 7, 2020

David D. Masters, age 77, well-known Evergreen farmer, passed away on Saturday, March 07, 2020, at his home with his loving family at his side.

          Dave was born in Milltown, NJ, on April 3, 1942, a son of the late Thomas J. & Elizabeth Olmstead Masters.  He graduated from the Milltown High School, Milltown, NJ, where he was a member of the class of 1960.   He married the former Dianne Herman on May 5, 1968. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary last May. 

          Dave operated his dairy, veal, and beef farm for the past 56 years.

          He was a loving spouse, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He enjoyed hunting, spending time with family and friends, riding around in his utility vehicle looking for deer.

          He was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas R. Masters Jr., of Sweet Valley, PA, on October 30, 2016; and Gary F. Masters Sr., of Sweet Valley, PA, on January 25, 1994.

          David’s wishes were that his service would be private and at the convenience of his family.

          Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.

          Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 83 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA.
