Craig Lee Blindenbacher

April 3, 1951 — December 19, 2017

 

          Craig Lee Blindenbacher, age 66, of Dushore, PA passed away at his home, on Tuesday, December 19, 2017.

 

          Craig was born in Camden, NJ on April 3, 1951, a son of the late Kenneth F. DDS, & Dorothy Reihmann Blindenbacher.  He graduated from the Valley Forge Military Academy and Lycoming College with a degree in archaeology. 

 

          Craig was a 1st Lt., III Corps, 40th Armour Reg. in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He operated Max Reihmann & Sons roofing business in Camden. NJ.  He was very proud of his volunteering at the Gettysburg National Park, before retiring to Sullivan County.

 

          He enjoyed collecting Civil War and World War II military memorabilia. He also was a meals on wheels driver for Sullivan Terrace.

 

 

          He was a life member of the Loyalsock Post # 996 American Legion, Dushore, PA.

Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth R. Blindenbacher.

 

          Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family, with interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.

 

          Arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
