Carol Lee Mills

Mrs. Carol Lee Mills, age 58, of Eagles Mere, PA, and Staten Island, NY, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018, at the Staten Island University Hospital with her loving spouse at her side after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

          Carol was born in Johnstown, PA, on May 1, 1960, a daughter of Thomas J. & Janet L. Petrusky Swab.  She graduated from the Westmont High School, in Johnstown, PA, a member of the class of 1978.  She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University in 1982. 

          Carol married Richard S. Mills of Pittsburgh, PA, on July 28, 1984, and they celebrated the 33^rd wedding anniversary, last July.  She was a paralegal and also the proprietor of the Pure Shop in Eagles Mere for several years.

          She was a loving spouse, daughter, and sister.  She loved Eagles Mere and walking around the lake and maintaining her beautiful garden, and taking walks with her loving dogs, Wally & Ida.

          A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, Eagles Mere, PA, with the Rev. Richard Rojas, pastor, presiding.  Interment will be in the Eagles Mere Cemetery.

          Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
