Barbara Marjorie Woodworth was born on February 25, 1958, in Winona, Minnesota, as the oldest child and daughter of Walker P. and Phyllis J. Woodworth. She graduated from Winona High School in 1975 and went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Case Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 1979.

Her early adult years were spent in St. Paul and Winona, where she was involved with work and many community activities. She resided in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, for the majority of her adult years, where she was active with her church and community. She loved playing piano, listening to music, studying and learning languages, reading, and spending time with her friends and family over the years.

Barbara died on November 11, 2025, at Darway Healthcare in Forksville, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walker and Phyllis Woodworth, and brother Robert J. Woodworth.

She is survived by two brothers: Walker P. Woodworth (Marissa), and Timothy Woodworth (Lanette); two sisters: Jean Woodworth Sorem (Steve Sorem), and Jill Rosenthal (Ed.); three nieces: Madeleine Woodworth, Mackenzie and Kendall Sorem; and two nephews: Walker L. and Hugh Woodworth.

Services will be announced and held at a later date as a Celebration of Barb's life.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
