Carl was born January 19, 1919 in Dushore, PA a son of the late Henry William & Gertrude Frances Tourscher Muller. He married Catherine M. Fitzgerald of Dushore on September 11, 1941 and served in the US Army during WWII and served in the European Theatre of Operations. Carl was a self-employed building contractor and during the four decades that he was in business, he built hundreds of homes and vacation cabins in Sullivan and Bradford Counties. He and his loving wife Catherine spend over 30 winters in Florida until her passing on August 19, 2004. He was an active member of St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA and a member of the former Holy Name Society. Surviving: Two daughters and sons-in-law: Ann Marie & R. Jerry Burke Towanda, PA Rosemary & Joseph M. Grieggs Harrisburg, PA A brother: Paul Muller Dushore Two sisters and spouse: Rita & Donald Green Silver Springs, FL & Dushore, PA Marie & Philip McDermott Charlotte, NC & Eagles Mere, PA Seven grand daughters and five great grand children and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph C. Muller on September 16, 1992. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 7th 2005 at 10: 00 a.m. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Bert S. Kozen, his pastor, presiding. Interment will be in the adjoining parish cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, May 6, 2005 at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, Dushore, PA from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Graveside Military Services will be accorded by members of Loyalsock Post #996 American Legion, Dushore, PA and members are asked to assemble and pass in review on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
