Decker, age 55, of Lopez, PA passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Jerry was born March 13, 1950 a son of Rose Manchise Decker and the late Frank Decker. He graduated from the Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 1969. He attended Williamsport Area Community College where he learned the craft of auto body work. He worked as a mechanic for Penn DOT in Laporte, PA for 35 years, retiring June 30, 2003, where he was honored for not taking a sick day for 25 years. He was loved by all who knew him. Jerry was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, Mildred, PA and was a member of the White Ash Land Association and the Lopez Civic Association. Surviving: Mother: Rose Lopez, PA Aunts and spouses: Helen Moss Shickshinny, PA Katherine Kern Hughesville, PA Thomasina Setzer Silver Spring, MD Frances & George Kellerman Bethany Beach, DE Numerous cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 19th at 10:00 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Bert S. Kozen, his pastor, presiding. Interment will be in SS Peter & Paul’s Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Lopez, PA. Friends may all at the P.
