Richard William Palmer

Mr. Richard William Palmer, age 63, of Dushore, PA and formerly of Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at home. Richard was born on June 26, 1952 in Sayre, PA a son of William Richard Palmer and Marjorie Johnson Darnell. Richard was born and raised in the Dushore area and then moved away to Georgia and had just recently moved back six months ago. While in Georgia he worked in construction and was involved in logging. He was formerly a stock car driver in Chemung, NY. Surviving: Father & step-mother: William & Linda Palmer Dushore, PA Mother and step-father: Marjorie and Charles “Okie” Darnell Macedonia, PA Son: Shane Palmer Sugar Run, PA Daughter: Melanie (Paul) Mingle Cicero, NY He is also survived by three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Dena Palmer. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
