Barbara Michen

Miss Barbara Andriole Michen, age 71, of Laporte, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at home with her loving family at her side. Barbara was born on September 1, 1944 in Providence, RI a daughter of the late Joseph & Rita McKay. She graduated from High School in Providence, RI She worked in several factories manufacturing electronics and also a jewelry manufacturer. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and especially spending time with her family. She and Tom moved to Sullivan County in 2000. Surviving: Companion of 25 years: Thomas J. Smith at home Two sons: Robert Andriole Raymond Skinner Three daughters: Brenda Nordstrom Rita Andriole Tina Andriole She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by five brothers: Herman Brown, Donald McKay, Robert McKay, William McKay, and Danny McKay and also by two sisters: Judy Mottrom and Kathy Arnold. She was also predeceased by two loving daughters: Rhona L. Andriole on October 6, 2012 and Lisa M. Andriole on June 1, 2013. Memorial Service will be held in Providence, RI at the convenience of the family.
