Grace Creel

Grace Morris Creel, age 81, of Eagles Mere, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Darway Elder Care in Estella, PA Grace was born April 10, 1934 in Eagles Mere, PA a daughter of the late Harry & Irene Andrews Wilson. She graduated from the Sonestown High School. Grace was an outstanding cook and worked at the Lakeside Motel and the The McKay before becoming the chef at the Eagles Mere Country Club where she worked for over 20 years. She later worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the Highlands Care Center in Laporte for 9 years before she retired. Grace enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crocheting. Surviving: Son: John Morris Sonestown, PA Sisters: Marion George Eagles Mere, PA Mildred Shires Hughesville, PA Grandchildren: Charles William (Syreeta) Morris Harrisburg, PA Carrie L. Morris Danville, PA Heather & Melody Jerome Cheyenne, WY Second husband: John J. Creel Akron, OH And several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Jerome of Cheyenne, Wyoming and a brother, Meredith Wilson of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
