Jasmine A. Colarusso Prushko

Mrs. Jasmine A. Colarusso Prushko, age 86, of Wyalusing, and formerly of West Pittston, PA passed away on Tuesday morning, June 23, 2015 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA with her loving family at her side. Jasmine was born in Exeter, PA on August 30, 1928 a daughter of the late Paul and Rose DeGuglielmo. She graduated from the Exeter High School. She married Louis Colarusso of Yatesville, and Donald Prushko of Dickinson City who both predeceased her. Jasmine worked at Pittston Hospital and Wesley Village as a nurse’s aide providing loving care to the residents. She was a member of the Alter Rosary Society, Immaculate Conception Church, West Pittston, PA. Surviving: Two sons: Richard and wife Lynda Colarusso, Wyalusing, PA Louis and wife Jeanette Colarusso, West Pittston, PA Daughter: Ruth Ann and husband Drew Taylor, Dallas, PA Brother: Pat “Williams” DeGuglielmo, West Pittston, PA Six Grandchildren: Alex, Madison, Stephanie, Rebecca, Louie, Josh and she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by siblings Elmer, Anthony and Grace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 605 Luzerne Ave, West Pittston, PA at 10:00 A.M. with Monsignor John Sempa, presiding. Interment will be private in St. John's Cemetery, Pittston, PA. Friends and family may call at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the start of the Mass. Memorials may be made to the Area Agency on the Aging, 220 Main St., Unit #2, Towanda, PA 18848, in Jasmine’s memory. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P.
