DEAN HOMER FUNERAL HOME 206 WATER STREET PO BOX 1 DUSHORE, PA 18614 TEL 570 928-8163 FAX 570 928-8116 Email pdean@homerfuneralhome.com OBITUARY Mrs. Mary Arabella Quinlan, age 92 of Cherry Township, Sullivan County, PA Passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital in Towanda, PA Mary was born August 15, 1922 in Preston Hill, overlooking Gerardville in Schuylkill County, PA one of fourteen children of the late John Joseph & Edna Roche Monaghan. She married Edward T. Quinlan of Philadelphia on May 12, 1945. She and Ed operated a Dry Cleaning and Tailor Shop in Philadelphia. They purchased a home in Cherry Township in 1965 and retired there in 1970. Edward predeceased her on May 3, 1997. Mary was a member of St. Basil’s Church in Dushore and very much enjoyed gardening at her home and was an avid reader. Surviving: Daughter: Mary Quinlan Norwalk, CT Brother: Michael Monaghan Dushore, PA Grandson: William Quinlan Coleman San Francisco, CA And numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Edward Quinlan on April 11, 1972 and by eight brothers and four sisters. A Graveside Service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cummiskey, PA on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:00 P.M., with the Rev. Richard Rojas, her pastor, presiding.
