Beverly was born on July 19, 1948 in Sayre, Pa at the Robert Packer Hospital, a daughter of Cora Kithcart Sutton and the late Frederick W. Sutton. She graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School as a member of the class of 1967. She married Kerry E. Detrick of Quicks Bend on August 19, 2000. They celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary last year. Beverly was a homemaker and a loving spouse and mother. She enjoyed crafts, camping and spending time at the river with her friends and family. Bev enjoyed making crafts of all kinds with Kerry and selling them at carnivals, fairs, and the Wyalusing Farmers Market. Beverly taught vacation bible school. She began taking classes in January at Penn Foster for retail management to further their business of B&K Products. Surviving: Spouse: Kerry E. Detrick at home Daughter: Amey (John) Johnson Ulster, PA Mother: Cora Sutton Warren Center, PA Sister: Barbara (Bruce) Williams Warren Center, PA Sisters-in-law: Janet (John) Harned Wyalusing, PA Cheryl (Jack) Keeney Browntown, PA Wanda Sutton Camptown, Pa Brother-in-law: Rodney Detrick Quicks Bend, PA 1 grandchild, Harley Murphy and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter: Rebecca Brotzman, father Frederick W. Sutton, and a brother Frederick G. Sutton. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church, Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Rev. Dr. Barry R. Ballard officiating. Friends and family may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service at 11:00 A.M.
