Kohler Goldberg, age 101, of Wyalusing, PA went to her reward on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock, PA. Margaret was born in the Sullivan County hamlet of Jamison City, PA on June 13, 1912, the fifth of eleven children of the late Joseph E. and Luella Dewald Hackling. In addition to her parents, Joseph and Luella Hackling, Margaret was predeceased by her first husband, Isaac Kohler, her second husband, Mortimer Goldberg and ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Robert R. Kohler and his wife Joanne, one grandson, Darin E. Kohler and his wife Eileen, and one great grandson, Justin. She is also survived by her step daughter Linda Levine and her husband Allan, three step grandsons: Eric, David, and Seth Levine, and four step great grandchildren: Logan, Adam, Matthew, and Brielle Levine. The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers at Golden Living and Hospice of the SACRED HEART whose care and compassion towards our mother in the final year and a half of her life was greatly appreciated. Private interment will be held in the St. Gabriel’s Church Cemetery, Benton, PA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA.
