Norma was born in Williamsport, on February 3, 1927 a daughter of the late Earl V. and Mary E. McCarthy Bair. She attended school in Williamsport and married Willis C. Howell of New Albany, PA on October 6, 1944. They recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. Norma worked for a while as a waitress and was then employed for over 23 years at Dushore Lingerie, Dushore, PA until its closing. She was a member of the New Albany United Methodist Church. She enjoyed raising her family and when she was younger, enjoyed playing guitar. She also liked to spend time at their cabin on the Susquehanna River. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and dancing and she will be missed by all who knew her.Surviving:Spouse:Willis C. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA with her Pastor James P. Rouse, officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford County Memorial Park, Luther’s Mill, PA. Friends may call at the P.
