Epler, age 75, of New Albany, PA died on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital in Towanda, PA           Bob was born December 13, 1938 a son of the late Harry E. and Mary Bleiler Epler. He graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School a member of the class of 1957. He married the former Judy Neuber on November 17, 1962 and they recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.               Bob was a life-long dairy farmer in New Albany and also served as an Albany Township Supervisor. He liked to race go-carts and attend tractor pulls. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and family and also family reunions and square dances. He really enjoyed fishing and being with his family. He also made maple syrup for Epler Farms for over 22 years           He was a member of Zion Chapel, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Dushore, PA He was a member of the National Supervisors Association of PA.Surviving:Spouse:Judy at homeSon:Scott Robert (Rebecca) Epler New Albany, PADaughter:Penny Lynn Epler-Carl Clarksville, NYBrothers:Lawrence Ray Epler and Cindy Kobbe New Albany, PABrother-in-law:Burton (Pat) Neuber Wyalusing, PAMother-in-law:Arlene Neuber Wyalusing, PAFour grandchildren: Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Kristie Epler and Michaela Carl and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister: Nina Joyce Epler Allen in 1970. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Chapel, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, with his pastor the Rev. Robert G. Kaltenbaugh, officiating. Interment will be in Bradford County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and at Zion on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
