Norton, 95, of Forksville passed away Thursday afternoon, March 20, 2014, surrounded by her family.           Lois was born in Montoursville on February 4, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Dorothy Smith Morgan. On December 12, 1941, Lois married Archie I Norton. The couple had been married for 55 years.           Lois was a school teacher for 35 years, beginning in a one room school house and ending her tenure at Sullivan County Schools. Lois was a graduate of Mansfield State College with a degree in Education.           Lois enjoyed family and friends visiting the family farm, canning, crocheting, and playing beautiful music on her piano. The family will miss the memories of morning pancakes made with love from Grandma Norton, as well as the many pies, cookies and cherry delight shared by many hunters throughout the years.           Lois was a member of the Sullivan County Fair Association and was recognized by The PA State Fair Association for her many years of service. Lois was most proud of all the blue ribbons she got for the canned goods she took to the fair. She was a member of the Millview Wesleyan Church for which she was the pianist for more than sixty years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.           Lois is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lana C. and L. Lee Randall of Olean, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Marlin A. and Cheryl L. Hartford Norton of Olean, NY; a daughter-in-law, Joy M. Hayes Norton of Leesburg, Va.; a special niece, Audrey Eberhardt and her granddaughter Amy McGee of Forksville and Eugene Dieffenbach of Pennsville, NJ who resided with Lois and her husband for many years.           She is also survived by her sister, Audrey (Carl) Bedford of Mehoopany, PA and by 13 grandchildren: Kirk (Lisa), Shawn (Marlene), Valerie and Eric (Kathryn) children of Wayne and Joy; Todd (Janice) and Gwen (Leonard) Higby, children of Lana and Lee; Charity (Mark) Curtis, Rachelle Jordan, Janna (Tom) Davis, Elissa (Matt) Burke, Marla Cole, and Cody children of Marlin and Cheryl; and 19 great- grandchildren.           Lois was predeceased by her loving husband Archie I. on February 11, 1997 and her son Wayne D. Norton on November 22, 1992 also brothers Desmond, Donald, Roland, Claude and Darwin and sisters Lucille, Lenore Mae, Myrtie, Alfreda and Ethlyn.                 Calling hours will be held at The Millview Wesleyan Church in Forksville, Pa., Monday, March 24th from 7:00pm until 9:00pm and Tuesday, March 25th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the service immediately following at the church at 2pm with the Rev. William J. Hargenrader, pastor, and Rev. Matthew D. Pickering and Rev. Erik J. Ferguson, former pastors, officiating. The interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Elkland Township.          In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lois M Norton's name to the Millview Wesleyan Church, 6575 Route 87, Forksville, PA 18616 or the Sullivan County Fair Association, 4430 Route 154, Forksville, PA 18616           Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P.
