Stephen Lent, age 79, of Herrickville, PA passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the Bradford County Manor, Burlington, PA Steve was born January 8, 1934 a son of the late Clyde and Lillian Cass Lent. He graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School a member of the class of 1951. He married the former Carol Earle of Troy on November 20, 1965. They just celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary last week. Steve was a lifelong dairy farmer in Herrick Township, Bradford County retiring in 1999. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being in the outdoors. Surviving: Spouse: Carol at home Two sons: Christopher D. (Ann) Lent Herrickville, PA Peter M. Lent Herrickville, PA Brother: Floyd (Jean) Lent Herrickville, PA Brother-in-law: Lawrence Davidson Sayre, PA Sister-in-laws: Victoria Golliver Addison, NY Patty Hackelton Fontana, CA Seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by a son, Gregory Scott Lent on June 14, 1986; and a sister; Elsie Davidson of Sayre. Friends and family may call from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. A Memorial Service will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. William L. Westbrook Sr. officiating.
