Noreen was born September 3, 1948 in Binghamton, NY, a daughter of the late Lewis and Maude Rogers St. John. She graduated from Afton Central High School in the class of 1967. She attended the Baptist Bible College, Johnson City, NY as well as the Ridley/Lowell School of Business, Binghamton, NY. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Philadelphia College of Bible and Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, PA. Soon thereafter she met and married Michael Dodd of Windsor, NY on March 27, 1976. She then served with her husband at First Baptist Church, South Otselic, NY for four years, then eleven and a half years at the Bible Baptist Church at Lake Katrine, NY, and the past 16 years at the Evergreen Christian Church, Evergreen, PA. Noreen loved music, especially singing, she had a beautiful voice, having sung solos and been in the choir. She enjoyed teaching the Bible to all of the many parishioners over the years. She especially loved spending time playing games with her children and grandchildren. She had loving open arms to everyone and loved to serve her people and spend time laughing with them or making them laugh. Funeral Services will be held on September 7, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at the Evergreen Christian Church, Evergreen, PA, with the Pastor Kenneth Doyle of Valley View Baptist Church, Valley Meadows, NY, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen, PA. Friends may call on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Evergreen Christian Church, 23 Szemple Lane, New Albany, (Evergreen), PA.
