Dale was born in Sugar Run, PA on June 30, 1925 a son of the late Dean Bickford VanDeMark and Euphemia Beatrice McCarroll VanDeMark. He graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School. Dale was married to the former Margaret Severs and she predeceased him on April 16, 2003. They lived in Howell, NJ for 25 years then retired to Albrightsville, PA for the last 25 years. Dale is survived by: Daughters: Victoria Mariocca Keyport, NJ Margaret Louise Beaumont Moorehead City, NC Yvonne VanDeMark Albrightsville, PA Son: Richard VanDeMark White Haven, PA Also 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Dale H. VanDeMark II. in 1985 and a brother Arden Dean VanDeMark of Orlando, FL in 1976. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA at 11:00A.M., with the Rev. John P. Hassler, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Jim Thorpe, officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service at 11:00A.M. Interment will follow in the Wyalusing Cemetery, Wyalusing, PA.
