Sam was born July 24, 1975, a son of Carl J. Remington and Paula Ann Lines Remington Wikoski. He graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School a member of the class of 1993. He attended Vale Tech School of Blairsville, PA for two years specializing in transmissions. He married the former Joe Anne Deniece Ferranti of Stevensville on May 15, 1999. After their marriage Sam and Joe Anne began Remington Transmission in Terrytown. Sam also was a bus driver for the Wyalusing Area School District and also Sharaton Charter Bus Lines of Wyalusing. Sam was elected and served as a Terrytown Township Supervisor. Sam enjoyed gun collecting, NASCAR racing, hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Robert E. Lines, Pauline M. Groover Lines and Paul Remington and mother-in-law, Mildred Ferranti. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Richard Vieldhouse, pastor of the Orwell Bible Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery. Friends may call at the Homer Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
