Cusano, age 72, of Warren Center, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 8, 2013. He is predeceased by parents, John A. and Ann E. Bohling Cusano, and his first wife Anelle. He is survived by loving wife Katherine; son Dr. Phillip J. and Sondra, and their sons Tanner and Seth from Bradford, PA; Son Dr. Matthew and Jackie, and their children Derrick, Ashley and Sean from Big Stone Gap, VA; Step-son Quinn Hanrahan, and his daughter Cora from Warren Center, PA; Step-son Kevin Hanrahan and Kim, and daughters Piper and Presley from Ithaca, NY; Step-daughter Bridie Zahora and Michael, and their children Ethan and Nicole from Hallstead, PA. He is survived by one brother, John from St.Cloud, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many friends and colleagues, and his adored pets. (his "furry children") Phil started his career as golf pro at Ocean Reef, Key Largo, FL. He had many interesting ventures including working on the Good Year Racing Team, being a stockbroker and insurance agent. Phil also served in the Air Force Reserves. Most recently, Phil was employed for 19 years at the Bradford County Human Services in Towanda, PA. He loved the service he provided and the people he worked with. He was actively involved in PA Association of County Drug and Alcohol Administrators (PACDA), of which he was the Chair for five years. Phil loved sailing, fly fishing, hunting, traveling, gardening and caring for "his cabin on the mountain." He loved being surrounded by his friends and family, especially his children, his step-children, and 10 cherished grandchildren. He was a wonderful friend, father, grandfather and husband. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home (The Red House), 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Joseph J. Manarchuck, his pator, presiding. There will be a reception following the service. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 12, 20 13 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 p.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home (The Red House) in Wyalusing, PA.
