Cole Smith, age 61, of Wyalusing, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at her home with her loving family at her side after a battle with cancer. Rosie was born in Troy, PA on May 30, 1951, a daughter of Mary Jane Wolfe Cole and the late Walter S. Cole Jr. She attended Troy High School graduating in the class of 1969. She met and married Bill Smith of Wyalusing, PA on September 19, 1970, they just celebrated their 42nd anniversary last fall. Rose was a member the Wyalusing United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of the Wyalusing Fire Company, having been an EMT for a number of years with the Wyalusing Ambulance Association, and serving in many capacities with the Fire Company over the years. Her greatest love was her family, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them in their many activities and endeavors. She loved being in the outdoors, weekends camping at Haighs pond, as well as winters in Florida. She loved spending time at her house on the hill and looking after her pets. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, several aunts, uncles, and special friends. A Memorial Service will be held on May 18th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at her home, 612 Old School House Rd, Wyalusing, PA 18853, with the Rev. Vaughn Glover presiding.
