Marshall, age 89, of Dushore, Pa passed away on Saturday May 04, 2013 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Ruth was born March 10, 1924 in Dushore, one of eight children of the late Eugene E. & Bertha I. Snyder Fulmer. She graduated from Cherry Township High School. She married Aloysius J. Marshall of Overton on April 8, 1943. They resided in Cherry Township until his death on December 2, 1978. Ruth worked for many years at Dushore Lingerie retiring in 1986. Later she moved to Sullivan Terrace, where she was one of the original residents. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens. She also enjoyed quilting and ceramics. Ruth was a member of St. Basil’s Church and the IHM Altar and Rosary Society the Dushore Quilt Club and a member of the Sullivan Terrace Council. Surviving: Three Daughters: Doris M. Josh Marshall New Albany, Pa. Julie Arnold Perkiomenville, Pa. Twelve great Grandchildren, and one great great-granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Son: James Marshall on February 26, 1994 Two brothers Carl E. Fulmer of Phelps, NY in 1968; Glenn Fulmer of New Albany, Pa. in 1996; and a sister, Geraldine Weisbrod Pehonich of Dushore, Pa. in 1996. A Transferal Service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at the P. Dean Funeral Home, 206 Water street Dushore, Pa.18614 and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 P.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, Pa. with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick her pastor presiding. Interment will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery Overton, Pa. Friends may call at the Homer funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
