Knouff III, age 46, of Sullivan Terrace, Dushore, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home. George was born September 13, 1966 in Passaic, NJ a son of George J. Knouff Jr. and Concetta Frances Lia. He graduated from the Sullivan County High School, a member of the class of 1985. While in high school he attended Vo-Tech at Williamsport Area Community College and received his degree in the Masonry program. He worked as the apartment manager for Overton Road Apts. in Dushore for 17 years. He also managed apts. In Florida for 3 years and worked for Bob McCormick Ford and Sears Roebuck & Co. George was a member of St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA. He enjoyed watching football games as he was a New York Giants fan, and also a Yankees fan. He also enjoyed working on cars. Surviving: Parents: George & Concetta Knouff Dushore, PA Two Daughters: Cynthia Knouff Hughesville, PA Torri Knouff Hughesville, PA Granddaughter: Ava Rae Knouff Hughesville, PA Two sisters: Karen (Shawn) Abernethy Laporte, PA Kathryn Knouff Colorado Springs, CO Brother: David (Kelly) Knouff Dushore, PA Longtime companion: Anna Wurzler Dushore, PA And several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a nephew, Charles Arnold and an aunt Kathryn Knouff of Nutley, NJ on Jan. 20, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, his pastor, presiding. Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614.
