Miles, MD, age 67, passed away on February 25, 2013 in his home in Sullivan County, PA. He was born on January 23, 1946 in Reading, PA. He was the son of the late Anthony and Kathryn Ackerman Miles of Reading, PA. He was a 1963 graduate of Reading High School and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Albright College in 1967. Michael received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical School in Philadelphia, PA in 1971. He completed his internship and residency at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in 1975. Michael was last employed as the Medical Director at Carpenter Technology in Reading, PA. He retired five years ago. He was also employed by St. Joseph Hospital as an Emergency Room Physician for 14 years and also at Ephrata Community Hospital for 10 years. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and especially his home in the mountains of Sullivan County and in Millsboro, DE. Surviving: Spouse, Donna L.
