Harvey, age 88, of Dushore, PA passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Highlands Care Center in Laporte, PA. Mary was born on May 10, 1924 in Satterfield a daughter of the late William P. & Martha G. Connor Barry. She graduated from St. Basil’s High School a member of the class of 1944. Mary married Martin Elmer Harvey of Kaiserville, PA and he predeceased her on June 4, 1999. Before her children were born Mary worked at the former Weldon Manufacturing Co. of Lopez, and also at GTE Sylvania in Towanda, PA. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved to visit her relatives and neighbors and was always willing to help anyone she could. She enjoyed walking and dancing. Surviving: Two sons: Robert & Donnata Harvey Wyalusing, PA Leo Harvey Tunkhannock, PA Four daughters & sons-in-law: Martina Mapes Post Sugar Run, PA Elizabeth & John Meehan Sarasota, FL Rose Harvey Hanahan, SC Charolette Richlin Schaefferstown, PA Brothers and sister-in-law: Francis J. & Sophia Barry Dushore, PA Sister and brother-in-law: Martha & Nartcy Nitcznski Dushore, PA Brother-in-law: Eben H. Harvey Tunkhannock, PA 18 grandchildren 36 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant son, Martin Lewis Harvey and brothers William John Barry on December 10, 1997 and Leo Charles Barry on March 31, 2005 Friends may call on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA. There will be a Funeral Service on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick.
