James was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on November 5, 1954 a son of the late Robert & Rita Hope Meier and grandson of the late Joseph & Ellen O’Mara Hope of Stowell. He is survived by a sister, Martha Meier and a brother John Meier both of Wilkes-Barre, PA and numerous cousins. Funeral Services were held at the convenience of the family with interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Stowell, PA Funeral Arrangements were under the direction of the P.
