Fitzgerald III, age 38, of Dushore, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA Eddie was born in Sayre on September 24, 1974 a son of Edward J. Jr. and Cynthia M Caccia Fitzgerald. He graduated from the Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 1992. He married the former Ellie L. McCarty on August 26, 2000. After school he was employed at Taylor Beef in Wyalusing and later at Osram Sylvania was employed at Craftmaster Corp. for several years and was employed by K&W Installations a subcontractor at Charmin Paper Products for the past 15 years. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, where in his youth he served as an altar boy, and a former member of the Mildred Fire Co. He was a board member and treasurer of the White Ash Land Association. He was also involved, T-Ball, Cub Scouts where he was Cub master, and a coach for Little League. He was a loving father and most enjoyed being with his children. Surviving: Spouse: Ellie L. Fitzgerald at home; two sons: Caleb E. Fitzgerald & Jacoby M. Fitzgerald and a daughter, Angel L. Fitzgerald, all at home; parents, Ed and Cindy Fitzgerald of Mildred; Paternal Grandmother, Melinda Fitzgerald of Dushore and maternal mother-in-law, Linda McCarty of Dushore, PA; two brothers: William & Shannon Fitzgerald, Wyalusing, PA and Joshua & Mariah Fitzgerald of Mildred, PA; two sisters: Marcia & Gilbert Pedro of Mildred, PA, and Melinda & Richard Sweigart of Laporte, PA.; a special friend, Christine, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Transferal Service will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 9:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. T. Shawn Tracey O.S.A, presiding. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 19th from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
